Keedy's walk-off HR lifts Hoppers in 10th

Ryan Keedy smacked a home run to right field to lead off the bottom of the 10th inning to lift the Greensboro Grasshoppers to a 5-4 win over the first-place Kannapolis Intimidators Saturday night at NewBridge Bank Park. It was Ryan’s eighth home run of the season. He’s batting .314 in 39 games since joining the Hoppers in early July.

MBi Sports Agency, has signed Outfielder Luis Del Rosario of the Kansas City Royals Organization. Luis was drafted on August 1, 2007 out of the Dominican Republic by the Royals and is completing the season in the Rookie Appalachian League. Luis is currently hitting around .270, with three home runs, and nineteen stolen bases. “Luis plays with a lot of enthusiasm and with the skills of an experienced player.
